Molly

Hey Amoret and Animal Advocates!! I wanted to send a special birthday update on Maddie! (Formerly known as Molly). As she passes her first birthday, I am pleased to let you know that the biting has stopped, barking has gone down to only when people walk by our living room window, and commands are getting easier and easier! She is still very jumpy, especially when new people come around, but we have started working very hard on greeting people with patience :) Maddie LOVES water!! (Though not taking baths) she loves going to an off-leash beach at St. Petersburg and running around with new friends! Lake Baldwin park is her favorite place! She loves to run around with friends, play in the water, then go for a walk in the woods where she can chase as many squirrels as she wants! (She's quite the hunter!) She has a lot of toys, and loves to play with them all, but has a special love for her white teddy bear that says "My first Christmas". She carries it around with her, never pulls any strings off of it, and won't go to bed without it! She treats it like it's her baby 💜 Most of all, she adores her mommy! ..sometimes even to the point of growling at dogs who try to say hi.. we are working on that as well. Haha She loves her daddy, but isn't quite as obedient to him yet. Mommy being home all day has the advantage! Grace

I adopted Grace at the Central Florida Earth Day Festival April 23. I renamed her Riley and she is a lively little girl with an enormous appetite. She LOVES to cuddle she loves when you kiss her neck and will practically smother you covering your nose and mouth while you lay down to try to coax anyone to give her kisses!

Doc

Here is a photo of Doc at his new home. He got some exercise around the neighborhood and then a bath plus some treats. Seems like Doc is getting used to his new home. My wife and I are very happy with Doc. We know it will take some time for Doc to be himself again. So we are taking it easy with him.

Heidi

I am in love!! Thank you for helping me connect with Josie (Heidi). She is doing very well with the other four legged friends in her new home. What a smart, responsive, sweet girl she is.
