Nevaeh was pulled from a local shelter in some rough shape. She was greatly in need of a rescue to invest in her and get her the help she needed.

Nevaeh is approximately 6 1/2 years old. She is a 10lb, Maltese/ Shih Tzu mix. Nevaeh is blind and has diabetes. She is considered special-needs because she will require insulin for the rest of her life. In addition, her eyes have to be cleaned daily. Those are her issues on the medical side but she is an amazing little dog. Nivaeh was turned into, the shelter, and she was close to death. She was underweight, covered in fleas, and very sick. Her journey to overcome all of her medical issues started in February when she was brought into our rescue. She was such a fighter and has now gotten to a point where she is ready to adopt into a very special home. She is a dog, in every sense of the word, except that she just can't see and she has diabetes. Other than that she loves cuddling, she will sit on the couch with you, she loves to sleep, snuggling with her owner and she gets around great.
She wears a reusable diaper because with her diabetes she does urinate often. She is the sweetest pup and deserves a chance at life.
