Starlight was rescued from a rural shelter. Poor Starlight along with some other dogs were given up by there owner because they could not care for them any longer. This girl has a happy outgoing loving personality and is a petite girl! She came to us with a bloated belly and we though she was pregant but after bloodwork, testing and surgery they have found nothing wrong with her. She is now spayed and ready for adoption. This is what her foster mom had to say about her:

This little Nugget is Nibbler (formerly Starlight). Nibs is an older girl...unable to give a good estimate on age and she does have early cataracts and only has 2 or 3 teeth.  She is heartworm positive currently on slow kill treatment.  She weighs around less than 9lbs (still chunky) she kennel and house trained.  Nibs gets along with kids, cats and all size dogs. She would be a perfect companion for an older person(s)!




Starfire is heartworm positive and on the slow kill method of treatment.
