Online Adoption Application

Luna Lovegood came along with several other purebreed small dogs as an owner surrender after their owner became ill and was unable to care for them! The owner was a elderly retired breeder and these where her personal dogs. Luna has spent the last year living in an outdoor pin due to the owner health declining. Luna has a happy loving outgoing personality! This is what her foster had to say about her:

Luna is an absolute joy to foster. She has a happy open personality to all people she meets. Luna is currently living in a home with 2 preschool aged kids, 4 adult cats, 3 foster kittens and 1 small dog. She gets along excellently with cats and practically ignores them (besides the occational kiss she wants to give them). Luna has done well with my small dog and got along well with the other small dogs in her orginial home. I do not know how she would react with a large breed dog. She great with kids and only wants to lick them. Luna is a smart girl and she learned my dog door system in less than 24 hours. I would consider her 99.9% housetrained as she only had 2 pee accidents in the 2 weeks ive had her. She enjoy access to the outdoors via the dog door and fenced yard. When she first arrived at my house she was crated when i left to ensure she understood boundries. She has since not been crated when i leave the home. She has only been left alone max 4 hours. Luna LOVES her people and would be happy to follow her owner around all day long. She loves to snuggle on the sofa and if allowed would love to sleep in her owner bed. She currently sleeps on a dog bed in the bedroom at night. Luna has not desplayed any food or toy aggression. She doesn't much know how to play with toys and the only thing ive seen her get excited over was a squeaky ball. Luna ideal home would be with someone who home frequently (works from home) with another small dog or cats. She would be fine with kids or not. She just honestly wants love 24/7. Her downfaults are she will lick you too much and too long. 

Luna tested positive for heartworms and is currently undergoing the slow kill method of treatment (proheart 12 injection, 30 days of doxycycline and decreased exercise).
