Nel was adopted from our rescue several years ago. His family can no longer keep her through no fault of her own. There specia needs son had a tramtic incident outside the home with another dog and is not terrified of the family dog. Poor Nel has been nothing but a perfect lady and gets along well with kids of all ages, dogs and cats. She is housebroken and is good in the house. When rescued she was a bit obese and has since lost significant weight. But she still obcessed with food so the treats have to be limited and the food portioned out Into two meals. Nel recently was diagnosed with diabetes and ita managed easliy with small injections twice daily after she eaten her meals. She doesnt even feel them and isnt bothered by them.
